Tai Kang Lu, another piece in the puzzle for Shanghai. Formerly a warehouse and local shopping lane, it has been renovated, repaved and a number of small boutiques for clothing, furniture and artifacts have moved in. Only 15 minutes from downtown, it is a must see for the serious shopper. A lot of trendiest fashionistas, hippies, hipsters and artists gathered here. You can see variety shops here. There is a shop called Insh designed specially for younger people. And also you can find shop suit for men and women who look for luxury sweaters. You can really find a lot of different feature shops in Takkang lu.

Have you heard that the exterior of a building was cleaned by a tooth brush? Bund 18 is such one special.It was founded in 1923 with a classical Rome Appearance. The designer even find that the four marble columns at the gate were already extinct in 18 century Italy. On the first and second floors there are brand fashion shops, as well as accessories and jewelry shops. On the third floor has a largest exhibition space in Asia. You can see the other side of the Bund and the Pudong panoramic view every day in the seventh floor.

Nanjing Road is the most famous business street originated from 1851. It has a variety of long-established shops and mall with set of commercial retail, catering, supermarkets and leisure arena. The road extends its way from east to west more than 1000 meters. What people mentioned Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway actually is Nanjing East Road, the counterpart is Nanjing West Road, which those two Road form this 1000 meters Nanjing Road. Shanghai’s oldest and largest department stores, domestic retail outlets and some traditional eateries with long history are all located in Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway.

Shanghai Orient shopping center and Gang hui Plaza have the world famous brands as well as Xujiahui has shops special for young fashion people. And XujiaHui is most famous for its electronics. It is one of the biggest place in shanghai to get electronic equipments.

Lots of tourists from home and abroad visit this famous market. The feature of this road is that you need to have very good skills at asking bargains. You can find rare, special and even odd products here such as Qing Dynasty Official Suit, old shaver and cricket applicance. You also can find some 1930's calender, birdcage and coins.

This market is famous for its cheap staff, as well as some fake good. In the basement, it is the the shoes and replicas of branded wallet and bags. On first level, it is full of clothes, cosmetics and accessorries. You can ask a bargain of 70% off its original price. Clothes are more presentable on this level. You can slash 50% off. This floor has a lot of brand about local designers.For third and fourth floor, they have got some good replica of Janpanese brands and others. The quality of this floor is better than the two other floors, therefore you may only have 30% off bargain.

As a lot of version of New Xiang Yang Market, the most familiar one is under the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. There are three obvious features about this market. First, there are millionaires of shops for cloths. Second, they usually offer you high price, but finally people can get a low price deal. Third, load of fake good. It is said that a rule must be obeyed here that you should never pay more than 1/3 the price of they offer. For example, if the asked 600RMB, you may only need to pay 200RMB at most.
